ISVs and Brand direct can request the WhatsApp Business API integrations by sending an email to whatsappactivation@support.zendesk.com
The request should look like this:
Title/Object: WhatsApp activation - <ISV/Brand direct name> - <end-client business name/brand direct name>
Content/Description:
- Business Name: <end-client business/brand direct name>
- Meta Business Manager id: <end-client Meta Business Manager id>
- Phone number (with country code): <+1 XXX XXX XXXX>
- Display name on WhatsApp:
- Sunshine Conversations appId: <the ISV/Brand direct needs to create the appId and provide it here>
📌 IMPORTANT:
🟡 The Meta Business Manager id has to belong to the company itself. Using a Marketing/Media/Communication agency id is against WhatsApp policy.
🟡 The appId is now mandatory, this means the ISVs need to create it prior to sending the WhatsApp activation requests.
🟡 One phone number = one email/request.
You can connect up to 20 phone numbers within the same WhatsApp Business Account.
1 Meta Business Manager id = 1 WhatsApp Business Account = up to 20 phone numbers.
If you need more than 20 phone numbers within the same WhatsApp Business Account, we will need to ask WhatsApp to increase the phone number limit on your behalf. There is no guarantee they will approve the increase and this is out of our control.
Attachment:
The ISVs need to attach WhatsApp end-client agreement.

If an ISV requests a phone number for their own WhatsApp Business Account, they don't need to sign the end-client agreement.
Brand direct don't need to sign the end-client agreement as there is no end-client on their end.
